Presentation of "Golden Eagle" car

We are happy to tell you about a joyful event! On April 26th at Belorusski Railway Station, and on April 27th at Kazanski Railway Station there was an official presentation of a Deluxe tourist train “Zolotoy Oryol [Golden Eagle] – Trans-Siberian Express”, the first of such type in Russia. Among the top guests attending the event there was the president of the Russian Railways OJSC Vladimir Ivanivich Yakunin, his Highness Prince Michael of Kent, and the head of Federal Tourism Agency  Vladimir Igorevich Strzhalkovski. The companies “Trans-Siberian Express” State Company, “Locotrans” CJSC and GW Travel Ltd. took part in the project development. The train consists of comfortable carriages for accommodating passengers, and each compartment of it is meant for 2 passengers and equipped with a shower, a lavatory, a washbasin, a DVD-player, 2 double beds and spacious luggage closets. Besides, the train comprises cosy carriages-banquet rooms, a carriage-bar, a carriage-kitchen as well as a facility carriage which provides tourists on the way with laundry, hairdresser’s and medical service. The train includes technical carriages designed for supplying the train with electrical power during the whole course. Well-to-do tourists who travel along the Moscow-Vladivostok route will be provided with a brand new level of service and comfort corresponding to the high global standards. Now Russian travelers are given a real chance to travel throughout Russia with comfort!
